March 2021
"David was able to teach us about the ongoing adaptive management of the Gedumba swampland by tracing its origins back to a point in time when David’s family and the Mobs of the region lived with an intimate relationship to the landscape, and to me, this would have been an incredibly emotive and challenging task. I’m sure David felt this challenge, yet the way he was able to turn the stories of hardship and injustice into a story of progression and reconnection to Country was inspirational."
open arms corporate event- fairmont resort
David has amazing opportunities to acknowledge corporate companies to the Blue Mountains, through a Welcome to Country ceremony.
He takes the time to get to know his clients prior, and to share relevant stories from his journey. This picture was taken at the Fairmont Resort in the early morning fog and cold for a War Veteran organisation.
At times, David's words, wisdom and stories can help heal the soul, surrounded by the breathtaking Blue Mountains scenery.

"Firstly, a big thank-you to you for your work with us today. It was really interesting, and I know a lot of the kids were in rich conversation about your workshop later in the day. The High School videos are excellent, and I've had great feedback from teachers. You communicate in such a warm and engaging way, and have such deep knowledge of language and culture. We would love to work with you again when we are able to be onsite at school, it sounds like you are close by in Hazelbrook."

January 2021
"Thank you so much for coming all the way to Paddington David and for sharing with us your generosity, wisdom and care. I really found your panel the most moving and inspiring out of the whole festival and you could feel these sentiments were shared throughout the crowd. I heard some really lovely and encouraging comments from some audience members afterwards which is a real joy and the main reason why we hold these events to get people to start questioning the world around them and to drive them into action. I really wish you all the best with all your amazing work you are doing and I really hope we can collaborate again soon!"
NAIDOC- BLUE MOUNTAINS CULTURAL CENTRE
David is often asked to participate at NAIDOC events throughout the year, either face to face or via online at the The Blue Mountains Cultural Centre
